Slavonica Discovery s.r.o. created and maintains the research database, the Slavic Humanities Index (the Database), for scholars and students in the field. The Database is available by subscription and is used by universities, libraries, and research institutions. We use personal data for fulfilling our obligations related to contracts and agreements with our customers and partners.
We collect names, titles, emails, and addresses of our customers (librarians) only for communication related to the Database. For our partners we also collect company’s name and contact information. We may also collect feedback, comments and questions received from the above in service-related communication and activities. We do not have or use any mailing lists.
In our website we DO NOT collect or track any personal information including essential cookies. In our Database we collect only IP addresses in order to provide statics to our subscribing institutions which is covered by our licensing agreements. In our Database we use only essential cookie for our Database to work properly.
Personal data which we retain only in relation to communication related to the Database and shall only be used for this purpose, namely to send emails with updates about the Database and answer questions related to the Database.
We store personal data to consider our need to resolve possible problems and answer your queries and to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws. This means that we may retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time after your last interaction with us. When the personal data that we have collected is no longer required, we will delete it in a secure manner.
